Waterproof Enclosures with high protection grades IP67 or IP68 for outdoor use are not automatically sealed against vapour and humid air. To avoid negative pressure, high humidity and condensation inside the enclosure continuous ventilation and pressure equilibrium is necessary. This protection can be achieved by using a venting element which is quick and easy to install.

The body of the venting element is made from a flameproof polyamide PA6 which contains a high-quality, breathable and watertight PES-membrane.

The unit provides a continuous pressure exchange and ventilation between the enclosure and its surroundings while ensuring protection against humidity and achieving a high IP rating of up to IP69K.
